Over washes, indigo from the sashiko yarns will bleed into the ecru-colored base and make the fabric a little more tonal in color. In addition to the natural indigo sashiko weave in plaid pattern, there is also the tonal ecru sashiko stitch in a geometric pattern to add to the character of this amazing fabric.
